Our 12 foot drill is now available to rent! Whether it is for cover crops, filter strips, soybeans or wheat, pasture or hay, or a prairie or wildflower installation, this drill can do it all!

How to Rent the No-Till Drill
Step 1:
KCD staff (Ag Tech) will contact you to get some more information specific to your goals and get you on the schedule
Step 2:
Carefully review and complete rental agreement contract (secure online Jotform platform)
Step 3:
Pay $100 deposit using the green button,
OR send check to Kent Conservation District
(see address at bottom of page)
Step 4:
Coordinate with our Ag Tech to get the drill and use it! Report days held and acreage planted to Ag Tech
Step 5:
Pay invoice from district staff for drill use
($20 per acre or $200 per day fee, whichever is greater)


​Additional Rental Details:
This drill has the ability to seed 3 different seeds simultaneously at different rates. It includes a small seed box, native grass seed box, and a grain box, making it very versatile. Other features include 7.5-inch row spacing, 19 rows, 3×13 center rib press wheel, 5/8″ turbo coulters, clevis hitch, 3 seed boxes, and a seedbox agitator (native grass). Renters must read the 1206NT End-Wheel Operator Manual and are recommended to use these seed charts.
Pricing:
Renter will pay KCD the sum of $200.00 per day of possession (not days of use) or $20.00 an acre whichever is greater.
Custom planting may be negotiated with our Ag Tech as requested for an additional fee, depending on his availability

Equipment will be delivered and picked up at a rate of $2.00 a mile if renter chooses a delivery.

$100 will be charged upon scheduling and signing Rental Agreement, $25.00 is a non-refundable deposit to cover administrative costs.
