Native Plants

The Spring 2020 Native Plant Sale Pre-order

Kent Conservation District has had to close online ordering following Governor’s orders. Our office is closed for all “in-person” activities.

TREES & SHRUBS –  Plans are in place to have a special social distancing pickup on May 2nd for tree and shrub pre-orders ONLY. Checks and credits cards on mail in orders will not be processed until after pickup. Instructions on pickup can be found here and will be emailed. Schedule pickup via signup genius.

NATIVE PLANTS – Still accepting pre-orders for our May 23rd pre-order pickup only day. Restoring native plant habitat is vital to preserving biodiversity. By creating a native plant garden, each patch of habitat becomes part of a collective effort to nurture and sustain the living landscape for birds and other animals. Why: Video Why Native Plants Matter
