Transforming Your Yard with Native Plants - April 11 6pm
Create a "living" landscape in your yard with nectar, pollen, and berry sources that native wildlife need to survive and adapt to resist whatever extremes occur in our West Michigan climate. This special workshop will cover several topics including; the many benefits native species provide, how to attract pollinators and planting guidelines. There will be a question and answer session with native plant grower and expert, Vern Stephens. The KCD native plant catalog will be available so participants can be advised on the suitability of your own yard for specific species. 
Cost: $10 a person at door. 
When:  Wednesday, April 11 6pm
Where: Aquinas College, 1607 Robinson Road SE, Room 119. Park in the theater lot west of the Science Building.
