Native Plant Sale
The first annual Kent Conservation District native plant sale was an overwhelming success. We would like to thank everyone who participated. Due to the demand we have scheduled a second plant sale for September 25th, 2008. For more information on this sale please select the tree sale tab above.
On Saturday, October 18, 2008 everyone is invited to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Red Pine Interpretive Center, which has served as a popular field trip destination for thousands and thousands of students since it was dedicated on October 22, 1978
Activities are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Highlights include a pancake breakfast, guided nature hikes, a silent auction and Taste of Nature market where visitors can sample unique foods that can be found at the nature center.
